Day 01:Arrival Delhi & proceed to Haridwar & O/N stay in Haridwar

Meet our assistance or Chauffer on arrival in Delhi as per your predefined schedule and further proceed to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into hotel and further you can proceed for Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pouri on your own if possible with available time and conditions. Driver who picked you from Delhi will might be not available today for further drop and pick up Or for Yatra. After a hectic drive from Delhi he might be tired and can go for rest and vehicle maintenance and wash. So here Har Ki pouri is centre point of Haridwar and there are several local transport is available for this sight. We kept you free to explore the local Haridwar and edge of Ganges. O/N stay in Haridwar. Next Day we will start Yatra and this will be Day 02 for Ex Delhi program.
Distance Covered Today : 220 KM in 06-07 Hrs Meals Included Today: Buffet Veg. Dinner Night Halt : Yes Possible Sight-Seeing Today : Har Ki Pouri Or Other sight on the edge of Ganga on your own.

Day 02:Haridwar - Barkot (210kms/7-8hr) HT : 1352 MTS. Via Mussoorie. O/N stay in Barkot

You can start comfortably after having breakfast and early morning bathing in Ganga. Normally from Haridwar to Barkot takes 07 hrs comfortable with a short break at Kampty fall if preferred otherwise with a non stop stretch we can reach in 06 Hrs. Normally in peak season time there is heavy rush in Mussoorie so sometimes we can divert the route to Barkot via Vikas Nagar. In this case Kampty fall sight-seeing can be discarded under last moment decision. Upon reaching Barkot , we will have dinner and retired for the day & Night Halt.

Day 03:Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Barkot - Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) HT :1158 MTS. O/N Stay in Uttarakashi

Early Morning leave for Jankichatti via Hanuman Chatti & Phool Chatti. On arrival Janki Chatti start Trek of 05 kms for Yamunotri. Upon reach at Yamunotri Dham experience Holi Dip in Garam (Tapt)Kund and then Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji, after Darshan and Pooja, afternoon start trek back to Janki Chatti on arrival Janki Chatti meet with driver and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Hanuman Chatti: The confluence of Hanuman Ganga & Yamuna River. Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
Return back from Yamunotri after trek drive to Uttarkashi. The distance between Barkot to Uttarkashi is just 04 hrs only so we will continue our drive for uttarkashi. Check in Hotel. Night Halt.

Day 04:Uttarkashi – Ganganani- Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (200Kms / 8Hrs) round trip. O/N Stay in Uttarakashi

With packed breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee leave for Gangotri early in the morning. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi , en route visit Gangnani. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Gangotri: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great Deva Yagna here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.
Gangnani: Further up on way to Gangotri, is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of Ved Vyas.
Ritual and Activities: Perform Snan at Gangotri Ghat (VIP Ghat), Ganga Pujan & Aarti at Gangotri Ghat , Darshan of Bhagirath Shila ,Darshan of Gauri Ganesha Temple, Finally Gangotri Temple Darshan after that you must have Darshan of Surya Kund. While returning Darshan of Gupteshwar Mahadev temple in Dharali , Interact with Tibetan Culture and people in Harsil.

Day 05:Uttarkashi –Rishikesh-Haridwar –(140 kms/05hr) .S/S Rishikesh. O/N stay in Haridwar

Early morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Rishikesh and on the way we will have mesmerizing view of Tehri Lake. Arrive Rishikesh and you will visit Laxamn Jhula and Ram Jhula on your own as this is not motorable. Vehicle will wait for you in parking. Best way to visit this part of Rishikesh is to enter by Laxman Jhula and exit from Ram Jhula. You can also see many Ghats and temples and beautiful Ashrams. Rishikesh is next home of Sadhus & Saints. It is also called Capital land of Yoga. You need to keep watch on time if you have missed your Ganga Aarti on day 01 upon arrival to Haridwar. So it is in your hand how fast you finish your sight-seeing and reach Har-Ki-Pouri, Haridwar for Ganga Aarti. It generally starts by 06:00 PM in Summers and 5:15 PM in winters. Those who have enjoyed on day 01 can have opportunity to enjoy some more time in Rishikesh. Late evening before dinner reach Haridwar. This is your last day and evening so must have to arrange your bags and pack. Evening you can enjoy shopping in Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Every year the Char Dham Yatra commences with the onset of summer in the months of May and concludes with the oncoming of the winter months by the end of October or early November. Mostly they open up on the holy eve of Akshaya Tritiya and shuts down on the eve of Bhai Dooj.

Can Senior Citizens Over the Age of 70 Make this Journey?
The holy Char Dham sites can be easily accessed by senior citizens since the government always makes constant approaches towards the betterment of these Dham sites.
