If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged from you on a pro-rata basis depending on portion of the tour standing utilized by you

.In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited refunding to you the price we charged as the tour fees.

Change Your Holiday Plan.

After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen departure date or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by yourself.

Itinerary

Day 01: Haridwar – Barkot/Janakichatti (223kms/7-8hr) HT: 2650 MTS. Via Mussoorie. O/N stay in Barkot

After early morning bathing in Ganga leave for Barkot/Janakichatti. Normally from Haridwar to Barkot takes 07 hrs comfortable with a short break at Kampty fall if preferred (Chargeable extra), otherwise with a non-stop stretch we can reach in 06 Hrs or we can directly go to Janakichatti in 8 Hrs. Reaching directly to Janakichatti is advisable for short itineraries as we can immediately start trekking for Yamunotri next day.

Upon reaching Barkot/Janakichatti we will have dinner and retired for the day & Night Halt.

Night stay in Hotel.

Distance Covered Today : 180 or 223 Kms in 07-08 Hrs

Day 02:Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot-Uttarkashi (142 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side:-O/N stay in Uttarkashi

Early Morning start Trekking of 05 Kms for Yamunotri.

Upon reaching Yamunotri Dham experience Holi Dip in Garam (Tapt) Kund and then Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji, after Darshan and Pooja, afternoon start trek back to Janki Chatti on arrival Janki Chatti meet with driver and drive to Uttarkashi.

Overnight stay at Hotel.

Distance Covered Today : 90 KM By Road & 10 KM By Trek

Janakichatti , Bhairav Baba Temple , Yamunotri Temple , Tapt Kund–

Hanuman Chatti: The confluence of Hanuman Ganga & Yamuna River.

Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Day 03: Uttarkashi – Ganganani- Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (200Kms / 05 hrs) round trip. O/N Stay in Uttarkashi Or Gangnani Or Harsil

Leave for Gangotri early in the morning. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani.

Overnight stay at Uttarkashi/Gangnani/Harsil (Depending upon the availability).

Ganganani Kund , Harsil , Gangotri Temple, Shiv Gufa, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shakti Temple Or Near By Area if possible.

Gangotri: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great Deva Yagna here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite

Gangnani: Further up on way to Gangotri, is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of Ved Vyas.

Ritual and Activities:

• Perform Snan at Gangotri Ghat (VIP Ghat), Ganga Pujan
• Aarti at Gangotri Ghat
• Darshan of Bhagirath Shila
• Darshan of Gauri Ganesha Temple
• Finally Gangotri Temple Darshan after that you must have Darshan of Surya Kund.
• While returning Darshan of Gupteshwar Mahadev temple in Dharali, Interact with Tibetan Culture and people in Harsil.

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Ukhimath/Guptkashi-Sitapur (290 Kms/ 8-9 hrs). O/N Stay in Ukhimath or Sitapur or Guptkashi

Leave early in the morning for almost day long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. Overnight stay in the hotel at Ukhimath/Sitapur/Guptkashi (as per availability). This stretch is the longest road travel in between the places of entire Chardham Yatra destinations. Sometimes it takes more than 10hrs if some traffic congestion is there.
Upon reaching Ukhimath/Sitapur/Guptkashi we will take rest

Distance Covered Today : 290 KM By Road

Day 05:Ukhimath/Guptkashi/Sitapur –Phata/Sirsi – Kedarnath –Phata-Sitapur -O/N Stay in Ukhimath/Guptkashi/Sitapur

Here is the day when you are preparing for the Chardham Yatra most wanted and toughest part “The Darshan Of Shree Kedarnath Ji”.

We have designed the program for both of the pilgrims whoever preferred to trek or complete the journey by helicopter.

Distance Covered Today : 40 KM By Road & Trek 21KM

Possible Sight-Seeing Today (Depending upon the Time Schedule , at times it is not possible to see all the mentioned places ) :

Sonprayag , Gauri Kund, Guptkashi, Kedarnath Ji Temple

Pilgrims those are confined to fly and made their reservation in advance for helicopter tickets for Shri Kedarnath Ji can return same day back to Phata base after having darshan.

In case when pilgrims are trekking/opting Pony or Palaki to Shri Kedarnath Ji – This will be Life’s Most Important walk where you will be you and Selfless before The Almighty.

Note: it is not possible to travel this distance in one day so one night stop will be required. Now a days Govt. facilitate with many basic arrangements like Wifi and other health camps to serve in better way and also allow the pilgrims to have a night stay at Shree Kedarnath Ji.
Now pilgrims are getting new opportunity to see BHIM SHILA a new mythological attraction. A giant stone protected Kedarnath Ji Temple during disaster time.

Rituals & Activities:

• Visit Gauri Kund
• Darshan of Kedarnath Ji Temple
• Bhim Shila and Chance to meet Gurus and Sadhus meditating for long time in Kedarnath.

Day 06: Sitapur-Chopta- Pandukeshwar-Badrinath -220 Kms / 07-08 hrs). O/N Stay Badrinath

After a normal and comfortable wake up we will proceed to Joshimath/Pandukeshwar/Badrinath Ji Via Chopta-Pipalkoti-Joshimath-Govindghat.
We will reach Joshimath/Pandukeshwar/Badrinath in afternoon and night stay in Joshimath/Pandukeshwar/Badrinath Ji (Depending Upon the availability).
If we reach on time then we can make short visit to temple to participate in evening Aarti.

Normally you cannot hold your mind or resist of visiting temple or Darshan of shree Badrinath Ji (Moksha Dham) upon reaching there

Day 07: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag - (140 Kms/06hr). O/N Stay in Rudraprayag

This is day of completions of your all pending rituals and karmas. At this Moksha Dham your quest of salvation will be completed. So this is how this program is designed to give you maximum time on this land.

Early Morning take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, Have again Darshan of Badri Vishal if time allows otherwise Important visit to Nag Nagin Pith (One of the important place in India for Sarp kal Dosh Nivaran), Short Visit to Mana Village (Vyas Cave, Ganesha Cave, Keshav Prayag, Darshan of Sarasawati Udgam (origin)), Charan Paduka Darshan, Short visit of Ekadasi Gufa & hanuman Gufa. View of Vishnu Prayag ,Nandprayag , Karnprayag

We will have view of 03 major Prayags (Confluence of Holy rivers) by visiting Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag whereas Vishnuprayag (where two river confluences Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda), Karnprayag (confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda), Nandprayag (confluence of river Nandakini and Alaknanda River).

Badrinath: Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering NeelKanth Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with 'badris' or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van.
Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was enable to withstand the force of its decent.

Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

Narad Kund: A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.

Brahama Kapal: It is a flat platform a few yards north of the temple and on the bank of river Alaknanda. It is an important place for shhradh ceremony or offering of pinds to ensure a heavenly place for dead ancestors or manes. It is said that offering pind here, the manes are permanently enshrined in heaven and no more pinds are to be done elsewhere ever afterwards. Legends have it that when Shiva chopped of the fifth head of Brahma, it got stuck to his trident. Lastly with the blessing of Lord Vishnu at Badrivan, the head of Brahma fell down from the trident at this place & hence the name Brahma-Kapal (head).
Sheshnetra: It is a large block of stone between two small seasonal lakes carrying an eye of "Sheshnag" The eye formation is quite natural, 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag's eye, it is believed that the seshnag waits at this place patiently to accompany the lord on his reincarnation.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. The women of the village offer Choli to the deity on closing day of the temple each year.

Day 08: Rudraprayag- Devprayag –Rishikesh-Haridwar – (140 Kms/05hr) .S/S Rishikesh. Tour End.

Early morning after breakfast, we will make a short visit of MahaRudra Temple at Sangam confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini. Here we can have Darshan of Maa Chamunda Devi Shakti Peeth. After that we will proceed to Rishikesh and on the way we will view of 05th and last Parayag-Dev Parayag in this route. Arrive Rishikesh and you will visit Laxamn Jhula and Ram Jhula on your own as this is not motorable. Vehicle will wait for you in parking. Best way to visit this part of Rishikesh is to enter by Laxman Jhula and exit from Ram Jhula. You can also see many Ghats and temples and beautiful Ashrams. Rishikesh is next home of Sadhus & Saints. It is also called Capital land of Yoga.
You need to keep watch on time if you have missed your Ganga Aarti on day 01 upon arrival to Haridwar. So it is in your hand how fast you finish your sight-seeing and reach Har-Ki-Pouri, Haridwar for Ganga Aarti. It generally starts by 06:00 PM in Summers and 5:15 PM in winters. Late evening before dinner reach Haridwar. This is your last day and evening so must have to arrange your bags and pack. Evening you can enjoy shopping in Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Every year the Char Dham Yatra commences with the onset of summer in the months of May and concludes with the oncoming of the winter months by the end of October or early November. Mostly they open up on the holy eve of Akshaya Tritiya and shuts down on the eve of Bhai Dooj.

Can Senior Citizens Over the Age of 70 Make this Journey?
The holy Char Dham sites can be easily accessed by senior citizens since the government always makes constant approaches towards the betterment of these Dham sites.
